We, the People of Azerbaijan, are seriously concerned about ecological situation caused by Armenians in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. According to peace deal signed by Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on 9 November, 2020, thousands of Armenians,who  came here after the occupation in the 1990s., must flee the areas around Nagorny Karabakh (Aghdam, Lachin and Kelbajar) that are to be handed over to Azerbaijan by 1 December, 2020. These areas are internationally recognised territories of Azerbaijan that are stated in UN Security Council resolutions 822, 853, 874, 884 adopted in 1993. While fleeing these areas of Azerbaijan, Armenians are not only burning down their homes that were left safe by peaceful population of Azerbaijan in the 1990s, but also burning down and cutting forests, so that damaging rare species of trees, causing deforestation. Surely, ecological terror committed by Armenians in these areas will negatively affect the soil. We request all international environmental organisations to stop Armenian vandalism and to assist Azerbaijan in future restoring our soul.
