There is now a civil suit against Offc. Schneider as well as the the city of Glendale, Lindsey and a third officer, Michael Fernandez, as defendants. On top of this, the FBI is now investigating him. 

It's important to understand that Schneider’s personnel file shows that his supervisors have repeatedly praised him for continuously having one of the department’s highest arrest counts and being a “bloodhound for criminals.” Even though there were countless times Offc. Schneider has used excessive force, even putting a bus full of people at risk in 2005, the department has continuously praised him and the Police Chief even defended Offc. Schneider. The real enemy is not just Schneider, but those who enabled him.
