For years now students at WINTEC Hamilton City campus have struggled with finding a park to be able to attend classes. Now it is worse than ever! Teachers and students are having to share parking lots. Ward street parking is gone! We put ourselves in thousand and even tens of thousands of dollars in debt to be able to study at WINTEC, and they wont even provide us with enough parking to be able to attend our lectures, classes, labs etc. We also have to pay for our parking. So as if student life wasn't hard enough... they try to squeeze more money out of us. If the parking problem is not WINTECs problem, then it is the councils problem and either way SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE! Build another parking building in ward street and make it cheaper and easier for students to get an education. Hamilton City Council and WINTEC need to fix this, and fast.
