As a fan of the 2019 Playmobil movie, I found it to be an enjoyable experience. Despite not having a significant connection with the Playmobil toys during my childhood, the movie captured my interest with its engaging storyline, beautiful animation, unique yet endearing characters and great soundtrack! I thought it was just as good as the Lego Movie and, in some ways, was even better! They're both great movies in their own ways!

However, the unexpected escape of the villain Maximus in the mid credits scene left many viewers, including me, hanging and longing for a sequel that never came sadly. Also, despite its charm, the Playmobil Movie didn't do so well with the reviews and at the box office making only $16.4 million globally against its $75 million budget (source: Box Office Mojo). It has now been 5 years since the movie came out and there hasn't been any more theatrical Playmobil movies ever since! 

However, all of this should not prevent us from advocating for a sequel or reboot. Seeing the success of franchises like Lego, it is clear that toy-based movies can captivate an audience. With characters like Rex Dasher and Blood Bones, there is great potential for captivating spin-off stories that can add depth and richness to the Playmobil universe. I absolutely love Rex Dasher; he's a very fun and lovable character! He definitely deserves his own spin-off movie or TV series!

By signing this petition, we are urging production companies to consider giving Playmobil another chance on the big screen. Especially now, when viewers are searching for fresh and innovative content, a new Playmobil movie could be both a commercial success and a beloved movie for many fans around the world. It would offer closure to the original story and potentially carve a path for new narratives that could continue to entertain us.
