Being a fan of Warner Bros' "The Legend of Tarzan" and its authentic portrayal of the iconic characters, I am passionate about the need for a sequel. I felt a connection with the characters and was captivated by the narrative, the unique blend of romance, action, and adventure.

It was disheartening to know that this splendid movie did not perform as expected in the box office but it is important to remember that box office numbers do not always align with the true quality of a film. 

While there were whispers of a sequel following the movie's release, there is still no concrete information concerning a second installment. Not only that but it's the most recent Tarzan movie and it's now been a decade since it was released!! However, Sony recently announced that they have a new Tarzan movie in the works and will supposedly be a new modern take on the legendary character. While I'm very excited about it, I still think Warner Bros should make a Legend of Tarzan 2!! It deserves and needs a sequel very much!!

I believe a sequel could bring fresh energy into the story. Jane could take center stage as the heroine of the jungle, a plot idea discussed casually in an interview. (Actually I heard it might've been a joke but I don't know for sure.) Such a narrative offers an exciting opportunity for showcasing female empowerment in proximity to nature’s wildness. It does not stop there - the sequel could equally highlight the next generation, focusing on Tarzan and Jane's offspring growing up to embody their father's legacy and embarking on thrilling jungle adventures.

The Legend of Tarzan garnered a fascinating audience that was invested in the story and the compelling birth of a new jungle legend. I firmly believe that the sequel to this film could be as compelling and even more adventurous than the original. Let's call upon the creators to revisit the project and unlock the potential that a sequel possesses. Also, when the movie was available to watch on Netflix, it became one of the most watched movies. This gave renewed hope for a sequel possibly.
