On Tuesday, the news came out that Mo Salah will be leaving Liverpool after 9 years at the club. His impact, both on the football pitch and off it, is massive. From breaking goalscoring records, to winning Liverpool majour honours, to uniting football fans all over the world, his contributions are worth remembering for decades to come.

That is why I am starting this petition. After reading an article provided by the Liverpool Echo (https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/council-boss-responds-calls-mohamed-33663526 I am convinced that Salah should be awarded the Freedom Of the City.
