Hey everyone.

I had my meeting with Mr. Gutman, the superintendent of WLCSD yesterday. State Representative Ryan Berman joined forces with me and we discussed all the information that's come to light about the school lunch problem. I'm very happy to say the issue has been placed on the agenda for the upcoming Principals meeting! The general protocol for our elementary schools is the same but each school does slightly different things with lunch. For example- one school has lunch first with an overflow table so unfinished eaters can hang back instead of going out for recess. Another school just down the road has Recess first with zero overflow tables and no way for kids to finish. Mr. Gutman sees the inconsistencies and wants to see if we can pool all the positive methods together that are working here and there and make a unified plan to get everyone following the positive plans.

The big takeaway from the meeting is we were heard! I'll let you all know what comes from the meeting. �
