Give "Blue's Clues" and "Yo Gabba Gabba!" their own stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Give "Blue's Clues" and "Yo Gabba Gabba!" their own stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
The Issue
Blue's Clues and Yo Gabba Gabba! are two beloved shows that have entertained, educated, and energized children around the world.
Since these two childhood shows deserve as much recognition as Sesame Street and to honor their place in pop culture, I have decided now is the time to give Blue's Clues and Yo Gabba Gabba! their well-deserved stars on the venerable Hollywood Walk of Fame. Especially considering that on September 8 this year, Blue's Clues is celebrating its 30th anniversary and Yo Gabba Gabba! will be turning 20 on August 20 next year.
From these shows, we have gotten DVD and streaming movies, video games, celebrity guests, live on stage touring shows, songs, T-shirts, toys, books, appearances on other shows and in events, and since both shows were in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (Blue's Clues in 2001 and 2002 and again from 2019 to 2022 and Yo Gabba Gabba! in 2009), they've achieved pop-culture status. There have also been Make-a-Wish recipients who wished to see their favorite characters from these series, further going to show how much of a positive impact they had.
They won't be alone, since all kinds of fictional characters have gotten their own stars on the walk, too, those being Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Looney Tunes, Kermit the Frog and The Muppets, Big Bird from the aforementioned Sesame Street, The Munchkins from The Wizard of OZ (1939), fellow Nickelodeon stars the Rugrats, (why hasn't SpongeBob gotten one yet?) Batman, Popeye, and Pee-Wee Herman.
Blue's Clues made its return to Nickelodeon in 2019 with Blue's Clues & You!, and Yo Gabba Gabba! landed on Apple TV+ in 2024, premiering Yo Gabba GabbaLand!. (the original four seasons were added later) The best part is, the original cast and crew returned for both. Even if Nickelodeon doesn't care about Blue's Clues anymore, as the fifth and final season of & You! having four episodes goes to show, and WildBrain used AI art for Yo Gabba Gabba! episodes on YouTube, for these two shows' nomination to be accepted by the Walk of Fame committee, a letter of agreement must be submitted by the nominee’s management, along with the nomination form.
That management would be the original creators, for Blue's Clues, it's Angela Santomero, who also created Super WHY! and Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood for PBS, Creative Galaxy and Wishenpoof for Amazon Prime Video, Dee and Friends in OZ for Netflix, and Penelope Pussycat for YouTube, and Traci Paige Johnson, who voiced Blue and also created Gabby's Dollhouse for Netflix, which recently got its own movie, and Scott Schultz, previously of the indie pop group Majestic, and Christian Jacobs, who voiced Plex and is the MC Bat Commander in The Aquabats, an SKA band who has their own Super Show on The Hub (now Discovery Family) and performed on Yo Gabba Gabba! and Yo Gabba GabbaLand! from time to time.
Blue's Clues and Yo Gabba Gabba! have endearing characters who care about helping those in need, they're in the hearts of the children that watched them and their parents, and that's why we believe they should be honored and celebrated with their own stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Sign today and help give Blue's Clues and Yo Gabba Gabba! the respect they deserve.
