Things in this dress code here at CFISD is so unfair for women. All the boys can dress however they want, yet the girls can´t. We should be able to express ourselves however we want, so we need an update on this dress code. The dress code was literally made in 1939! One experience was when my friend was wearing athletic shorts, and that got dress coded. Yet whenever she had to change into her gym shorts, those were athletic shorts as well! I also saw a boy wearing them with no problem. Here are more examples:

- No shoulders showing

- No shorts beyond your finger tips

- No tight shorts

- No tank tops

- No ripped jeans

- No hats or hoods

- No piercings unless its simple studs or short hoops

- No athletic clothing

- No yoga pants

- No crop-tops (I understand if it’s really high, though.)

- Tattoos should be covered at all times.

- Jackets/coats are not permitted in class

- Solid color sweatshirts or pullover sweaters with no zippers, no writing or graphics, and no hoods. (Though no one follows this rule)

- etc.

These rules are so unfair, and by the way, most (but not all) of these rules do not exist for men. We need to fix this problem! I will add more to this when I get more info, in the meantime, sign please!
