He stated: "As to this petition I'd suggest the members interested in this cause raise awareness throughout the community if it is something they are passionate about. We'd like to continue to leave the ultimate decision on payback charities up to the community themselves but a bit more knowledge and awareness for those who are voting isn't a bad thing. For instance as Stephen pointed out earlier in the thread not all of the money that is donated ends up being used for charitable activities but instead it can be eatten up by administration costs within the charity. A bit of research online can typically come up with the numbers as due to being a charity they have to be public knowledge". and "We're not going to counter the vote of our community or to eliminate some charities from contention at this time as we make a conscious effort to not influence the charity vote every payback period beyond removing those charities which have perviously received payback".
