The time i’m making this petition it’s June 2024.  It is absolutely ridiculous the amount of heat this school endures when the days get warmer and summer grows near. We get a VERY WARM welcome back in September with the school still sweltering until it starts to cool off. There have been rumors circulating that the Garfield School District has received money for the air conditioning to be installed in this school yet they plan on using it differently. The main office seems to not show any interest of this matter due to the fact that they already HAVE air conditioning in their office. The school gets extremely humid and it’s very unpleasant and uncomfortable to be in. My sister who graduated Garfield High school class of 2015 FAINTED in the art room due to the heat she endured that day. Think about the children.
