Get Wendy's to sell their frozen fries for grocery stores!

The Issue

November 2, 2021 ~ Original Statement:

Back in 2017, my dad and I tried Wendy’s for the first time during a trip to Cape Cod, MA.

I was excited to try their fries, and the moment I took my first bite—right after we got our food—it felt like golden heaven for my taste buds. I remember thinking, “Dang, these taste pretty good, thanks to their quality food!” I couldn’t stop eating them, and by the end, I was hooked. That experience really showed me how much I liked this fast food place, and I knew I’d want to go back again.

Another time, after my mom’s graduation, I wanted to show her how good the fries were. She tried them—and loved them. The rest of my family ended up really liking the place too!

Then in late 2018, Wendy’s started a limited-time deal: fries for just $1. Every time we went, we’d order five servings! The fries still tasted like heaven, and everything about their food just screamed actual quality.

Unfortunately, in November 2018, the $1 fries promotion ended, and they went back to regular prices. I know a lot of Wendy’s fans, including me, would love to see that deal return someday.

Over the past few months, most of my friends have said they really like Wendy’s fries—even more than McDonald’s. While McDonald’s fries are a bit saltier (and still tasty), Wendy’s fries have that extra something that makes them the best in town.

That got me thinking: what if Wendy’s started selling frozen fries in grocery stores? A lot of people would love to enjoy making and eating Wendy’s fries at home, especially those trying to save money or avoid eating out every day. It would be an awesome way to enjoy the same great taste from the comfort of your own kitchen.

I believe this idea could make Wendy’s even better and more accessible for everyone who loves their food but wants to stick to a budget, even Wendy's Fans as well!

May 27, 2025 ~ Update 1:

In, April 2025, I glanced at the news of Wendy's finally dropping new Food items at Grocery Stores that most Wendy's fans admire! The first food item was their Frozen Patties, so they can now enjoy the taste of a restaurant's ingredients of a burger at home, and now, in May 2025, they've released their Frozen Bacon pack, so you can now officially enjoy making a Baconator Cheeseburger at home with both of their newly released items so you can enjoy that wendy's flavor too, without actualy going to the restaurant itself.

Now, almost a year after I first started this petition, I've abandoned it as I undoubtedly believe that Wendy's won't make this change by selling their food items at grocery stores, and also the lack of petitions signed, and in 2023, I stopped eating Wendy's (and all resturants, inlcuidng Dining out) in general, as I felt like taking a long hiatus from eating fast food was more beneficial for my health, and I moved on from working on this petition.

But now in 2025, considering that Wendy's is now officially dropping their food items at grocery stores as a way to "bring their fresh, famous food to customers in new and exciting ways", My hypes were up and there FINALLY might be a possible chance that Wendy's might start dropping their Frozen Fries to Grocery Stores too, like I've wanted back in 2021 when I started this petition, and if they finally deliver this change (Hopefully before the end of the year), then not only this petition will finally be a victory after Years, but I'll finally return to eating their fries again, but AT HOME without having to go to the place to order them.

Wendy's has even confirmed this unexpected change, and it's looking to bring its“famous food to customers in new and exciting ways” (touched upon earlier), according to this article.

Do you always remember their promises in their commercial about their Fries, "2-to-1, Over McDonald's"? That claim has been proven, and I would even love and get Hyped if they release their Fries in Grocery Stores. It would be a Dream come true for me!

I used to be a Big Fries fan, and I'd love to devour as much as I can daily, without waiting to order them just to consume them, and then they're gone the next day, which I don't like (and maybe others too)

So I'm officially calling all Wendy's Enjoyers, including those who satisfy their French fries, to gather around and develop a community on convincing Wendy's to finally establish this change once and for all!

So gather your friends, family members, and anyone you can find to show them this and help promote this request for Wendy's!
