Get Timothy Cook’s Unjust Charges Dropped!

Get Timothy Cook’s Unjust Charges Dropped!
The Issue
Collingswood High School Honors student and athlete Timothy Cook had a bright future waiting for him in the U.S. Marine Corps after June 2020 graduation.
That future is now in jeopardy.
On February 9th, Woodlynne police responded to a 911 call made by Timothy’s sister, saying her father “wouldn’t give her stuff back” because she was upset at losing her cell phone as a disciplinary action.
Timothy’s dad Clyde Cook cooperated when officers arrived at their house. He consented to one of them entering.
Instead, the police barged into the house, escalating the situation and assaulting and pepper-spraying the family, including children.
As the police were assaulting family members, Tim stepped into the way to protect them as he was afraid for their safety.
Timothy is now facing serious charges including aggravated assault.
Despite the pattern and practice of excessive force and inadequate training of Woodlynne Police, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office refuses to drop the charges and is instead prosecuting him.
As a result, the Marines have discharged Timothy because of the charges he’s facing.
Help us get justice for Timothy.
A PEACEFUL PROTEST BEING HELD.
When? Wednesday, July 1st from 5-7 PM
Where? Outside the Woodlynne Borough Police Department - 200 Cooper Ave Woodlynne NJ 08107
