My disappointment was immeasurable when I found out Sonic had replaced their normal fries with 'groovy fries'. "THEY SUCK!" I exclaimed, deeply upset by this unnecessary change. Like many enthusiasts, Sonic's regular fries ranked high on my list. The sudden shift to crinkly fries has been beyond disappointing. This new variety faltered in comparison to the simple, yet exceptional flavor and texture of their original fries.

Fries are one of the most popular side dishes in America, with an average American consuming around 16 pounds of fries per year (Source: US Department of Agriculture). Recognizing its popularity, isn't it sensible to provide what people love instead of forcing a change?

On behalf of every Sonic customer who loved the original fries, I plead with the decision-makers at Sonic to return to the original recipe that made their fries a beloved choice. We do not ask you to completely eliminate the ‘groovy fries’, but could they not simply be an optional choice?
