Nickelodeon said that this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards would be held at Pauley Pavilion located on the UCLA Campus, but instead Nickelodeon held the show at Barker Hanger. This is sad to me because last year, the 2023 Kids’ Choice Awards were held at the Microsoft Theater (Now known as the Peacock Theater.) which is a bigger venue then Barker Hanger, in fact, I felt the Barker Hanger is to small of a venue to hold the Kids’ Choice Awards so I felt Nickelodeon could’ve held the show at Pauley Pavilion as they promised. The reason why I think that is because that Pauley Pavilion is a much bigger venue and it’s also one of the 3 venues I would love Nickelodeon to hold the Kids’ Choice Awards at with the other 2 being The Galen Center & The Forum (Now known as The Kia Forum) which the biggest venue to ever hold the KCAs and could’ve been the home of the 2020 KCAs with supposed host Chance The Rapper. Barker Hanger is too small of a venue but I was afraid this would because while looking at the press site of this year’s KCAs, I saw in the credentialing page that the venue is Barker Hangar.

And now you can see why this year’s show could’ve been held at Pauley Pavilion and how it could have been the first time since 2010 to be held there. We must act now to convince Nickelodeon to hold next year’s show at Pauley Pavilion.
