Chicago has St. Patricks Day. New York somehow has Christmas, New Years, and even Valentines day (a little bit). With a town full of cosplayers, costume designers, production designers, and overall creative people who go all out every year, we need to declaire to the nation that we are the official home of Halloween.

What is at stake?! The pride of a city is at stake! That is why our mayor needs to hold a press conference and stake our claim! 

Now is the time to act because it's spooky month. Our homes are already decorated, our costumes have been planned for months. It's now or never!
