Get Disney to Only Make Follow-ups to Their Live-Action Remakes Already Released

Get Disney to Only Make Follow-ups to Their Live-Action Remakes Already Released
The Issue
Disney may not be getting distracted from the industry that put it on the map (animation), but I feel astounded that the company is producing remakes of more recent movies like Moana!
Above: an animated movie from this very century!
Below: a live-action version of said movie with CGI that shows how cheesy and unoriginal something looks outside of animation. Also worth noting, there are no new songs.
Since this is a 3-D animation movie, it's unnecessary and a misuse of resources to turn them into live-action remakes. Not to mention Moana came out after this remake trend took off! Roger Ebert once said that animation can tell stories much better than live-action. No matter how much technology has advanced since his death, it's never gonna be an excuse for this trend. Period.
Since technology has obviously advanced too far for any end in sight for the trend of remaking animated movies just because the materials exist, all the public can do is propose some standards that could save the Walt Disney Company billions of dollars.
My suggestion is to conclude the theatrical release of these remakes with Lilo & Stitch, limit any remakes currently in post-production to Disney+ release, and only make follow-ups to live-action remakes that have already been released. For instance, I hear tell about some sequels for movies like Cruella being in the works, which would expand on existing material and, as such, should be more worth while than remaking Hercules, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, Bambi, or any animated Disney movies that came out in the 21st century (such as Tangled)!
A live-action adaptation of The Chronicles of Prydain - the novel series that The Black Cauldron is based on - is far from offensive, but animation is what made movies like Hercules and Tangled so funny to people of ALL ages! I for one find that such live-action remakes of those movies (unless you give them subtle titles) may as well be worth shelving.
Please sign this if animation means this much to you!
