Welcome, thank you, and LET'S DO IT!

To all signers and supporters so far, thank you!  I'm just a baseball fan from Southern California who wants to see the legacy of a national icon cemented forever among the entertainment industry's greatest.  I'm technically not even a Brewers fan.  Go Angels!  I really did just come up with this idea completely on a whim last week, but I'd love to see it through to the end if it carries that far.  I believe in this.

My plan is to contact the Milwaukee Brewers directly and inquire about them leading a potential campaign for Bob Uecker's Hollywood Walk of Fame star.  I'm emailing them today about it.

I just think it would be a really great way to honor Bob's contribution to American culture throughout his lifetime.  It would also give the Walk of Fame's new Sports Entertainment category a quintessential representative of a "sports entertainer."  Bob's greater legacy is defined by entertaining people through sports, specifically baseball, and he did that with the Brewers, on Carson, in his movie and television roles, and with his consistent approach of self-deprecating humor, genuine ball knowledge, and personal humility.
