This a petition to the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles. 

This man needs to be locked up and stayed locked up.  I do not understand the availability for parole.  He is a convicted, caught, and boastful criminal.  He will continue to sexually assault, harass, and be indecent to underage girls.  

My daughter was 14 when she was contacted by "Jerry" Gerald Surratt, Jr. via Facebook.  She was not friends with him.  She never had contacted or talked to him before.  She came straight to me when he Facetimed her over and over and would not leave her alone.  When she answered him he was masterbating on the phone.  I messaged him and told him she was an underage child to not contact her.  He kept calling.  He kept messaging. He targeted her.  

I called the police to report and they knew who he was.  This man is very well known to do these things, along with burglary, breaking and entering into women's apartments, and indecent acts.  I feel nothing was actually done in our case because he didn’t come to our house, but a report was made.  After posting this incident on facebook, I received messages from others afraid to come forward, and ones that already have but yet he was still free walking around.

I am begging the parole board, as a mother and as a woman, please protect us from this monster!  Please keep him off the streets as long as you can because there will be other victims as soon as you let him out.  He will repeatedly offend and feel he is untouchable.  He will boast and brag about it.  I honestly feel in time his acts will continue, they will continue to be more dangerous and I feel at some point he will murder.  Please listen to your victims because we fear this man.  I fear for all the public.  I fear for our young daughters, our sisters, and mothers.   

If you have a daughter, think of her and look at this man.  He would break into your home, assault her right in front of you and laugh about it.   He will be out walking free and victims carry the trauma for the rest of their lives.
