B BiggsFL, United States

As always thank you all for your support and efforts together we are making a difference to save these inmates lives! As in headline news the BOP is slow to act on Attorney General Barr’s order drafted April, 3, 2020 in releasing minimum/low risk inmates for home confinement. There seems to be confusion on how to implement the order even though it is very clear in the memorandum what requirements an inmate should meet to be prioritized for home confinement. My husband whom has pre-existing condition meets all requirements except the grace of the BOP; and it is known other inmates at this facility does as well. Nevertheless, I fight on joining alliances with other organizations to help expedite these inmates releases.

The Eighth Amendment (AmendmentVIII) of the United States Constitution prohibits the federal government from imposing excessive bail, excessive fines, or cruel and unusual punishments. This novel coronavirus makes them susceptible to cruel and unusual punishment and that is an infringement on their rights amongst other things. I stand firm in knowing that God has a plan manifesting that the BOP will have to fall in line with! With that said we shall not relent! Our family and the inmates (especially their families) wants to ensure it is expressed they are grateful for your compassion to act and stand with us! God is at work...
