Hello all 320,089 of you wonderful people!! Today, something absolutely AMAZING happened: Waitrose became the second UK supermarket to drop the cost of their period products (inc. tampons, sanitary pads and panty liners) by 5% to cover tampon tax. Period! Tesco was the first to announce this period-taboo-smashing change two weeks ago. Let’s hope many more will follow! This scheme not only supports our protest against sanitary products. It will also help to tackle period poverty, smash the period taboo and make period products more accessible. Basically, it’s amazing. Period! And it’s thanks to all of you! Have a lovely day, Laura :)
