Hello lovely people!! Here’s some positive, non-election-related news: we have launched a new sister petition to end period poverty in schools. Period! Pleeeease help us by sharing and signing the new petition, here: https://goo.gl/ugPH41. My campaigning sister, Amika George, set up the petition a few weeks ago while studying for her A Levels. She’s kicking ass by lobbying the Government to give girls on free school meals, free sanitary products too. A recent study has revealed that many schoolgirls cannot afford tampons or sanitary towels. Consequently, they are forced to use unhygienic alternatives that is damaging their health. Amika hopes to put an end to this by tackling period poverty with your help! After Amika saw this study, she thought “something had to be done!” and put her mind to changing policy and helping fellow schoolgirls out of period poverty. Period!
