I was hoping for a little peace over the Christmas holidays, but that wasn’t to be… The cruel tactics of Sennybridge and Coodes solicitors, was to send me a new Notice to Quit my home, a week before Christmas!
This came as a huge shock, which resulted in me having a terrifying attack which caused temporary paralysis. The paramedics were called and I was given Rivotril intravenously and admitted to hospital. Three days later, Coodes sent an aggressive man, to hand deliver The Notice which then brought on another severe attack which resulted in the paramedics being called again for seizures and paralysis which lasted over an hour. I have now been prescribed Alprazolam for what the doctor thinks is panic attacks, brought on by stress.
The timing of this Notice and not responding to any of my letters is, I believe cruelly calculating on the part of the solicitors and aimed at causing distress.
 
In October, Simon Wright, the developer, turned up at my door unannounced and promised to show me his good title of the land my chalet sits on. I wrote to the solicitors asking that they produce this and that they also look in to the legitimacy of Tekoa Hayle Ltd and again my requests have been ignored.
What is even more disgraceful is the way Coodes are withholding John’s ashes from me until I agree to vacate Riverside. John’s wishes were for me to scatter his ashes on an ebbing tide in the company of friends, and sadly this has not happened.
John appointed Coodes to act as his Power of Attorney, to carry out his wishes and act in his best interest. I wonder if this is actually the case and I wish to question their own code of conduct.
 
Despite these setbacks, I am determined to fight for justice for John and save Riverside. This chalet is the very essence of what makes Cornwall so special and I will do all I can to save it from development.
