NO DEATH CAN DRIVE LIFE TO SILENCE

I was not born during the WWII , but I always remember the adage :   "NEVER HUMILIATE YOUR OPPONENT”   

Indeed, We all want a healthy life, given the opportunity. Good Education, Health and Social care ?  In Europe we started to forget the direct impact of wars. 

My understanding  of wars is the necessity for invaders not to get what they want.  After Hitler’s dictatorship, Germany and its integrity disappeared for a while because the  2 biggest powers outside Europe ( one Eurasian ) took the territories they wanted and Europe was divided into 2. ( the minority serving the superpower ).

Today History repeats itself but with a difference  ,

Will the invaded country  be allowed to have their stolen lands returned after an abundance  of destruction , death and loss ?  Because the  simple people should not be humiliated, homes destroyed, bankrupt and killed too ?  or 

Will this diktat be stronger ?,

“Resistance is futile “    (as taught by the Borg in Star Trek.)

Will it be because 

The will of the most powerful is always the strongest and leads our fate 

What is our human destiny ?

Is Justice a human invention that does not exist ? 

Does the law of the jungle always prevail ?

“ Will or can our planet progress or not ?”

In a COUNTRY thrown into WAR, it is death through violence , traumatic for the one who dies and traumatic for the one who sees it happening, powerless to prevent it or stop it. 

In the COUNTRIES  where there is NO WAR, death comes insidiously by illnesses and chronic diseases triggered within the  body and spirit of many of us. 

This is why the Housing Rights have  to be simplified with an increasing knowledge of the best use of energy,  the best repairs available for a best homely life, the understanding and the sharing of our limited ressources, applied without discrimination to all.

Most of the time the use  of a lawyer is not  pragmatic nor realistic for people who have no control on their life but giving the knowledge to simple people and even allowing some to specialise just enough in these issues about health, housing is more than feasible and would fast track any resolution.

While  in the meantime ,  the slow and quiet pace of deaths of the simple people bring even more control and a more wealthier life to a few landlords allowing them to suck dry those lives .

I am asking  the MPS  and more particular my MP who are thinking about this housing problem in a sporadic manner . Paying for your housing at the highest rate and not having a decent repair for years is an unjustifiable discrepancy with such short human lifespan.

I am asking   my landlords who refused to consider the problems for all these years and are now anonymously signing my petition for spurious reasons, to accept to be accountable for their failings. 

I am asking the  people who are reading this petition to give the green light to speak to the above 2 bodies to make them understand that people do have rights at home and they have to be applied;  the fundamental right to Health at Home, with Good Repairs and reCognition for Payments made in Good Faith. 

Landlords, your contribution is requested to prevent anyone else from ever taking our homes again.  There is no need for a recognition of what you did, stealing , destroying , damaging my home land and still ….just because you can  invade and believe it is yours. Allowing me to live well in my home would give you better financial returns but the will to take my home will not . 

Let's start by looking retrospectively to the last 30 years of my life  and start with the latest damages created in January 2021 that you did to my home flat with your latest flooding. 

That year you agreed to be responsible for  the repair with a caveat,  you asked to enter my home and destroy my ceiling some more so that you could find where  your  leak came from, a leak that  came from your flat and went through my whole flat from its ceiling to below my flooring  …. 

As per your past flooding , the flooding came when you were absent from the building.  

At first , I refused to have more destruction but then gave up. I asked for the repairs of the damages you did in 2014 and 2015 to be considered at the same time and in exchange I would accept that you destroy my ceiling some more to find the origin of your flooding but then I encountered SILENCE again, until now.  

From the added work you did after 2014 and 2015 heavy building works in your dwelling, you must know that you are still damaging my home flat and there is no recognition from you too as your managers unlawfully denied the 2014 and 2015 damages.  

I won’t mention today  the roof leak and the damp kitchen wall that I had to live with from 1995 . My good health vanished in 2007 .But in those days no one would have known where to ask for help although this is when the idea from the leasehold advisory came to buy out a share of the freehold in order to have the right for decent repairs in my home. It did not work , landlord , you only took my money and used it and threatened me so I would keep SILENT, once more . 

I kept having reminders of my status during this near 30 years, e.g when I had all my windows blocked after your building work. I was 8 hours drive away caring for my mother and had asked to be informed. After 4 months of SILENCE from you it is luck that gave me back some fresh air. I found  one of your workers one day who was doing some snagging work at your building entrance and I gave him tools and asked him for help to unblock my windows. It worked for a while.

Indeed, How can a simple person like me think that one  should be respected, you are connected to the highest level at the BBC, coming for your meetings and going back to your big houses or villas in the Caraibes. 

But you could have told me in 1995 when I called you on the telephone to introduce myself to you that you forbade me to buy my flat in your building-home by buying it yourself.

After I bought my home  there was no reason for you to make my life so miserable by disallowing any good and proper repairs, withholding the necessary papers l needed for my bank ( 2 lawyers were needed to obtain them ) and affecting my health forever . (diagnosed from 2007). Recognition of viles actions can happen even after death. This has happened through history even in your influential network.

Even if I came with a good education, health and social care background and paid for a healthy and peaceful life at home, you should have told me that with my different background from yours it was forbidden for me to buy a portion of what was considered by you to be your “building-home” 

That rule of law,  allowing abuse by default, invading someone 's life is one that requires to be disabled forever 

Your participation in recognising the loophole you used to steal someone’s home as unlawful will give you a recognition that will display an understanding that it was a vile action. 

This does not prevent you, the landlords, from being still very rich while allowing simple people like me to be in a better health  status and able to participate in the progress of this world by  giving the best care to the family elders and working with the young generations to reach their best potential tomorrow with integrity.    

You would also gain respect in redeeming yourself partially. You cannot repair the irreversible demolition  of a mind and body caused by your behaviour but you can soothe it and more especially prevent any other similar people going through such devastation by the invasion of housing rights. 

Landlords, Time has come  for  your active and positive participation  for a better life for all that can only multiply your wealth further but only by ….
