Good morning Landlord, 

Recently you could not avoid meeting me face to face in the street. We spoke. You seemed to imply to me that I was harming you. You  added that you always wanted to deal with my disrepairs but was  waiting to hear from them. While l made repairs to halt some damages , there is still work to do . Here is the list of the facts that you know from 1998. 

In 1998,  the current landlord signed a letter stating that there was a leak in my kitchen roof . The issue was addressed partially for the first time in November 2012 

In 2000, I refer you to the work and research I did with your signed agreement of the first steps for buying a share of the freehold and the lease for each individual living in this small building, primarily to be able to remedy disrepairs by finally having the right to do so.

In 2005, I refer you to Mr D.H surveyor’s report related to the bad maintenance of the 2004 building-work and the need of doing proper work on my small roof. He mentioned the defective new window installed too ( my fridges could never work in my kitchen because temperatures were off the scale in that room in winter and summer, you said to me it was normal) Mr D.H mentioned other damages too.

In 2007, my health took a hit and never returned back to normal .

In 2013, after the next inadequate 2012 building-work, (small reminder, my blocked windows, the kitchen disrepairs, the leak), I will refer you to the solicitor who asked for communication and told me to have faith.  I refer you to Mr H.T surveyor’s report and my own proposition to do the work in the kitchen even though the duty belonged to you.  Knowing the disregard and unwillingness  you had for well being and  to be able to have proper repairs from 1995,  I thought by offering to pay, you would at least  enjoy the fact that you made me pay double for something falling under your own duty. You refused again, perhaps the subliminal extraction in which I was framed did not still make it acceptable. 

In 2014, I understood you were taking over my home by the placards you put on my door and in the common hall for your tenants to read. You took the share of the freehold and the lease I had just bought because it was handed to you on a golden plate by the law not protecting a simple person fighting for their disrepairs.

In 2014 and 2015, major building works went above my flat , in a small building that was so badly converted into flats that cracks and damages were done to my home-flat. It was as bad as the kitchen that until then was the non livable part. I was told I can only be a liar by your employees to complain about it and why I refer you to Mr C.M surveyor’s report, to Ms H.H surveyor’s reports ( 2x)  and I refer you to a last year architecture student's findings

In 2016, I refer you to Mr I.H surveyor’s report which encompassed the 2012 and 2014-15 disrepairs and damages.

In 2017,  I refer you to all the work I did in contacting the National grid and Cadent Gas as per your request  and you did not take into consideration their findings. 

In 2018, I refer you to the heavy building-work you finally did in the common hall and that caused some damages in my flat , not unexpected findings, as I had learned from the damages you did in 2014-15 from the heavy work above my flat. I will remind you that my ELECTRIC METER is unreachable for me and that one day I will break one of my bones or more by going onto that tall ladder to try to take a photo of the reading. While on the ladder, it is with great contortion that I can reach the screen of my small meter hidden behind the frame of the cupboard door. ( I had 2 missed fall so far) 

In 2019, I despaired having my life impaired in so many ways

In 2020  during Covid , I decided not to give up. If this is the last thing I do, let it be. But Housing rights for people who pay in full have to be respected. 

During Covid , I opened an account and asked you for the ethical invoices to be sent to me directly but never heard from you. This is where I put the money for the maintenance of the building that is truly badly done as you can guess.  

And also more importantly because I am waiting to have back all what you took from me. 30 years ago it would have been so easy. Today, you cannot give me back my mental and physical health unfortunately, but the years of misery and disrepairs that I lived through you have to own it and remedy the situation well with the same equivalence in quality that an important person would want it to be. Otherwise it will be a  DERELICTION OF DUTY EVEN AFTER MY DEATH .  

Yet  over the 30 years , the amount of people you used in management coming to work for acquiring experience and then moving on to a better job was harmful. It should never be permitted that people with limited competence deal with the well being of others without proper supervision or should be under a requirement of a better level of expertise. One of these junior managers told me how one of the landlords was such an important man, being a manager in the BBC , that I needed to take that into consideration. 

With this reminder Landlord, I hope that the synopsis of the years and the reports will refresh your memory and that you now remember.  

I considered asking you to declassify me and consider me as a cat as their well being is of prime importance to you. If you consider me as one,  your brain  will finally allow me the same status of protected life and well being without being forced by the law of morality to do so. 

In 2021-22, And guess what , I forgot to mention the flooding again from the above flat with the important man. It damaged the ceiling and the floor of one of my rooms. Did I ask a surveyor for a report ? No , what is the point ? But this time you cannot say I lied because it went through my flat to one of your flats. For the first time, you wanted to come into my flat and destroy my ceiling to find out the origins of the last disaster . I said at first NO but accepted under condition that you would deal with all the other damages and disrepairs too. Then, I did not hear from you anymore . But guess again ! The buzzing is back in my flat,  the only free room is my bedroom !   I have only a kettle and a boiler and no fridge, so this is one of your devices. 

In my previous update, I was inviting you to accept the changes in the law and work with me, with us. I hope that communication can be installed and I can add that the maintenance and accounts would benefit to be reviewed as there is a need for a much better cost efficient care of this small building that used to be a home for a family. 

If your business requires you to spend so much, then it is the cost of your business not my home with its waiting disrepairs for the next owner to enjoy a repaired  home. 

That recognition will make you responsible for my well being until my death, well being never granted from 1995 and we are in mid-2022.  I would like to enjoy home a little bit but after 30 years of telling myself , “Tomorrow will be a better day, I know that would be a miracle”. 

I  will never reach a sense of belonging or become your equal  but

THE LAW has to recognise me as your EQUAL, that is the important factor , human factor, that I am ready to give my life for as it will help me and others too. 

Becoming a cat, or classified as such by you, will allow you to respect me as a human being and if it is what it needs, let it be. In the meantime 

Thanking  you for willing for the first time to appear to be willing to take your responsibilities and duties , I am looking forward to being able to live through its benefits.

BREAKING NEWS 

Yesterday on the 23rd September , I was told I will receive a reply to the latest update : "letter to the Landlord" with the disrepairs and the series of surveyor’s reports I paid over the years and waiting for the proper repair while doing some mending myself

I have been writing emails for the last 3 years to one of the landlords R. 

I am not holding my breath but will let you know ….

This is why I need and thank you for your support , support from normal people with normal understanding of life .
