I believe I wrote it in the update of the "4th dimension" what would happen with the same rights. 

Over here standing  up for our legitimate rights is very hard .

There is the fear, the stress, the unknown  and above all , this unbearable heaviness of being when one knows we only have the rights on papers ( theory)  and they are NEVER applied unless you are able to stand up.

So WHY EXIST and why FIGHT for them ?

I fought so much for nearly 30 years and now I am not fighting for myself anymore. I will NEVER achieve anything but I would like to leave something for the OTHERS , the younger ones  on this particular subject. 

 I would like to leave more than only having specific housing rights to be respected as a right on paper , but added to,

AN EASE of the APPLICATION of that RIGHT that gives us a certain level of happiness and peace being at home .  Because in theory I had that right, but if the legal loophole allows your right to be taken away, there is an impossibility to have it recognised. 

And When we become ill from the harm done, it becomes impossible to unravel the past . 

That is why we should increase the accountability of the people who have the wrong behaviour towards others and their housing life . 

I will give an example  of another situation related to health that is easier to understand.

In 2007 I was angry and desperate, the promises given about an operation that would supposedly cure me or at least allow me to have a normal life had not been respected. 

I did not consent to the one done but I had signed,  telling the surgeon I trusted him not to do the one a professor  advised not to and the surgeon told me later he did the operation  as it was the only one he knew how to perform. 

Why had he not told me before ? I have had to accept to live with it. Today I do not think it would happen again 

But in 2016 , a similar problem happened,  this time it was a post-op problem from a tumour removed on my face. It does not matter now that I am an old person, but if  I was a young person , it would very much matter.

ACCOUNTABILITY DOES NOT ONLY COMPREHEND APPLYING THE RIGHT BEHAVIOUR TO PREVENT HARM

BUT ALSO TRYING TO REPAIR THE HARM THAT A PERSON RECEIVED, INTENTIONALLY OR NON INTENTIONALLY

The housing situation is one of the best examples where this should happen as it is a deliberate harm to the well being of people not to be willing to redress any harm done , repeatedly over the years as

a  HOME unlike a HUMAN can be PROPERLY repaired. 

The only help we need to receive is from the lawmakers to make it so reprehensible to have so much damage to a life, mentally and physically  that this will never happen anymore. 

There is a document set up by specialised lawyers who worked on the changes in legislation and awaiting the signature of the lawmakers  , I gave the name of that document to my MP . She was saying that the discussions were sporadic and not to expect anything much before 2024, I might be dead by then. 

Could they, the MPs  have a push to start having the will to sign the document that will  bring the right changes  ? 

So this update is a CALL for my MP to ask all the other MPs to start working on it . 

I understand there is always another call, they have to work on the abuse with the PPE material, the abuse by some company using money received during covid for personal gains instead of investing it in their company, all these other abuses we heard of and unsure if someone can be made accountable for , do we have a rule of law that we all follow… 

Lots of work for them but in the housing case, it is relatively simple. if only that could be discussed with them.

When we buy a flat to become our home, we know how precious it is , spending weekends after weeks working to pay the mortgage and looking for the day that after all the improvements done , we shall be able to enjoy our home . 

But when disrepairs and damages strike like raining cats and dogs, one  is walking backwards instead of forward all the time and while one has faded grey and weaker and ill  and when the landlord takes the money you paid to have full ownership of your home, it is arduous to stand up. 

With that full ownership, you were planning to tackle as ignored for years, the disrepairs yourself. Such bad action should become unlawful with the changes in law   because this is simple abuse of a weaker person. 

Please ask people to sign for the lawmakers to accept the pressure to have the will to listen and accept to hear me out through this petition because that is all that is needed  before being able  to leave this planet in peace ,

Seeing the proper repairs of my home before leaving  as time to enjoy my home is gone for me but not for others who can face the same ordeal again and again in the future . 

Let’s stop its possibility  for ever coming again , dear MP, now is your time.
