If you watched this most recent March Madness or if you follow GCU, you would know what a shock it was when their men's basketball program defeated St.Mary's in the first round of the NCAA tournament. St.Mary's has been a basketball powerhouse for years now and for GCU to win that game was a big statement. It seems that now the university is known to most people. The only thing they are missing: a football program. Football could help the school in so many ways, they could get even more fans. This could result in the school getting more popular. It could become the next TCU! They could make more money, get more students wanting to come. It is already a growing college, imagine how trending it could be after starting a football program!!!
