I'd like to share an additional petition with you. The WHO and the CDC are both recommending that families with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 be kept together after birth, however, many hospitals are forcing mother and baby to be separated against their will. Please consider signing this petition to keep families together.

Policies forcing separation of families, either during or after birth, and forcing separation of parents and their newborns lack evidence and will cause unthinkable trauma and increase suffering during this public health crisis. Maternal health and mortality does not end at birth. We must insist on keeping families together to keep them safe and healthy and to give babies the best start to life possible.
