Hi, everyone. 

Can you share this petition with your friends and family? We are very close to 20,000 signatures. In order to get this on the desk of Gavin Newsom, we need to be at *100,000* signatures. We have a long way to go, but we are hopeful. 

As a side note, the family has a GoFundMe page if anyone is interested in donating to help them fight for justice. They’ve raised about $2000 since October but we are hoping to get them to their goal of $40,000. If you are able to, please donate and/or share.
