Robert Perry Former AW High Desert State Prison:
"I am writing this chrono on behalf of Kenneth Davis, inmate custodian-Health care facility maintenance program-High Desert State prison (HDSP). I have overseen the work of Mr.Davis for over a year now and on several occasions have worked in close contact with him. In addition to being a hard worker and excellent in his assignment in the HFM program, he has been a tremendous assets for me with his artistic talents. Throughout our complex, Mr Davis has painted many murals for the enjoyment of staff, Visitors, and others. He has single handedly made our visiting room a better place to spend time in. In addition, he has painted military murals that honor those who have served our country, which both staff, visitors and other inmates have enjoyed. It is a pleasure and hornor to have him working for us in these capacities. Based on Mr Davis's work ethic, great behavior, integrity and over all persona, I recommend him for any opportunity he is seeking. Sincerely R.Peery associate warden".
Matthew Williams Captian H.D.S.P:
"I am writing on behalf of inmate K.Davis, AK4195, and wish to offer a personal observation of his character.
As the captain on High Desert state prison's facility A for approximately two years , I have had the pleasure of getting to know Kenneth Davis. Inmate Davis, or "Kenny" as he is known has been an incredibly positive influence on this facility. He has over time earned the respect of inmates and staff alike by his personal example of integrity, honesty and personal accountability. He spends a lot of his time mentoring and working with young inmates and those new to the system. By working with these individuals, he has helped model rehabilitation, personal accountability and responsibility. Many of these individuals are deeply ingrained in gang or a criminal mindset mentality. Kenny helps them to see there is s better way, one that can help them break the cycle of their former lifestyle and live a life they can be proud of.
Mr. Davis has worked with inmates and staff on many occasions to help solve problems and settle disputes which otherwise may have led to violence and tension. I have also observed him as worked to mediate for and support inmates dealing with different issues. Mr Davis is a perfect example of self-improvement and how an individual can rebuild their life despite hard or seemingly insurmountable circumstances. He has maintained his faith, good nature and heart while taking advantage of every opportunity for self-improvement and personal growth. He accepts accountability for his past and owns it with sense of humility.
Mr.Davis is an incredible artist and his handy-work is visible throughout the institution, making a normally drab place brighter. He greets everyone with a smile and always has an encouraging word.
For approximately two years of contact with him, his work area near my office. I encounter him daily and have seen him on his good days, his bad days and everywhere in between. I have seen him endure some very stressful situations and Yet maintain his character. I do not know the Kenneth Davis that entered the prison system years ago, but I know the Kenneth Davis of today. In CDCR we have a saying, "Today's inmate, Tomorrow's Neighbor." I would have no reservations about having Kenneth Davis as my neighbor. Sincerely Captain M.Williams".
(Ab) 256 (sb) 1437 should have released Kenneth Davis but the courts are being biased and unlawfully convicted Kenneth Davis
