Please see the attached information about the closing of the NRASS service in Gateshead civic centre.
I am writing to you today to ask for some support to keep this service going for the Deaf people of the Gateshead area as it is urgently needed.
This service is a lifeline to a lots of Deaf people in the Gateshead area as they help with letter reading, making phone calls filling out forms for things like benefits, housing, bills, legal assistance all manner of things us people in the Deaf community would have no chance of understanding without them.

Without these type of services has a detrimental effect on the mental health of the Deaf people living in the Gateshead as they are proving to be a lifeline for many of us especially during these times of concernduring COVID-19.

The is a real lack of services in the Gateshead area for the Deaf and this was the only one we had and we would really appreciate you help in fighting for it and would like you to support us.
