The gym(s) became excessively hot and humid, leading to uncomfortable conditions, and several individuals experienced heat exhaustion, forcing a temporary pause in the game. The match should have been halted entirely due to the extreme temperatures. Despite having several fans, the heat was unbearable. Three Gaston County High Schools are in dire need of an air conditioning system. Please take action to prevent any future incidents that could be severe.
