Divers in northern Thailand rescued 12 boys and their football coach from flooded caves, 17 days after they got trapped underground.

One of the boys was sporting an England shirt is reportedly a massive England fan. He loves the England captain Harry Kane. His uncle told the press that he had been cheering on England in the World Cup until disaster struck. FIFA’s President invited the boys to watch the World Cup Final in Moscow but it looks like the boys will have to remain in hospital during that time.

Like many england fans, I've watched with pride as our boys have shown the world the best of England. It would be brilliant to see them continue this by opening their arms and welcoming the brave boys from Thailand

That’s why I’m calling on our brilliant football team to agree and arrange an opportunity for the 12 boys to meet them!

What the boys went through was a terrible ordeal, and I would be so proud for our team to give them something special to look forward to.
