Campus Mental Health Transparency: Support the Gio  Initiative

Universities already track suicides and mental health crises, but they are not required to report them. Under the Clery Act, schools must publish crime statistics, but mental health emergencies, attempted suicides, and deaths by suicide remain hidden from public view. Parents send their children to college without access to critical information about how well universities manage mental health crises.

Require universities to include suicide and mental health crisis statistics in their annual Clery Act reports.
