I suppose it’s official: Picasso is now "attached" to our film "We Were Here"—which may very well be retitled: "The Tragedy," as Picasso's painting and methodology intersects the narrative's structural foundation.

In any case, an enormous thank you to Harry Cooper (Bunny Mellon Curator of Modern Art, National Gallery of Art) and Ann Hoenigswald (world-renowned NGA conservator who conducted the technical analysis of the painting). Two giants in the art world, whose humility and passion truly floored me.
