Pollok Roundabout and surrounding roads post M77 & Silverburn ;/
The Issue
Instead of your expensive (5 million getting wasted of our tax payer money the rumour!) changing pollok roundabout into 4 way traffic light thing... just put the originally planned road over river halfway up brockburn!!! Or any other way off island. Any road from levernside or lyoncross over to brockburn. That would HALF silverburn roundabout traffic IF WE HAD ANOTHER WAY OFF NORTH POLLOK - we only have bonnyholm, silverburn roundabout or corkerhill north to GET out!! We have NO OTHER CHOICE. We need another option over river then. You've already made bonnyholm way a nightmare by blocking off potterhill, calfhill and dormanside - forcing us that way to go FULL length of lyoncross then half of linthaugh! Then there's just a teeny tiny bit of brockburn road to try and turn right onto (100 m?) to then get onto crookston road - across 4 lanes of dual carriageway might add ;/ You obviously didn't think of logistics when made m77 and silverburn! We have no choice but to go roundabout as car bridge at TSB/Waterfoot taking us roundabout only way! Even a local slip road Waterfoot, open up local roads again I.e. potterhill, calfhill, dormy etc... we're like sheep! You're herding us in cars one way over roundabout! Another few bridges over rivers (even north there is ONE n ONE ONLY-Corkerhill!!!!).... you have CAUSED this bottleneck. I'm not coming at this from selfish angle. I LIVE at green bridge (drumcross right at braidcraft end).... b4 blocked off potterhill etc us locals going to beltrees etc came down braidcraft anyway and still do... as one of only 2 ways, (even though nightmare if needing to get to crookie road (cos of 100m of brockburn) we're driving lyoncross way anyway (AS AVOIDING ROUNDABOUT LIKE PLAGUE BETWEEN 4.30-6.30 n would rather go longerway) if going to beltrees or leithland as can turn left to castle... it won't really increase traffic as we're driving by anyway...
