Funding Needed for Marineland's Beluga Whales

Funding Needed for Marineland's Beluga Whales
The Issue
At Marineland, located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, 30 beluga whales face a precarious future. As well as 4 dolphins, 3 seals, and 2 sea lions.
The animals need to be taken care of here and now, until a more permanent solution can be resolved.
Due to financial constraints, Marineland is unable to adequately feed these magnificent creatures or properly maintain their tanks. The situation has become so dire that euthanasia is now a looming threat, due to lack of governmental support which has been evident by denied funding and transport options to China. This heartbreaking scenario cries out for urgent intervention.
As someone who values the well-being of these intelligent and sociable animals, it is devastating to see them suffer due to circumstances beyond their control. Belugas are known for their distinct vocalizations and playful behavior, reflecting their complex emotional and social life. To lose these whales would not only be a tragedy for animal lovers but a failure to fulfill our ethical responsibilities as humans.
We propose to raise funds dedicated to feeding the belugas and making temporary repairs to their living environments. This is not a permanent solution, but it will buy us valuable time. In parallel, we must work on securing a permanent relocation arrangement to a sanctuary that can provide them a life worth living, such as the Sea Life Trust’s Beluga Whale Sanctuary in Iceland, one of the few facilities worldwide equipped to offer a suitable environment.
Supporting this cause means providing immediate relief to beluga whales who should not have to suffer due to organizational shortcomings. Our goal is to ensure these creatures live a healthy, fulfilling life in a sanctuary where they belong.
By signing this petition, you contribute to a critical movement aimed at saving the lives of innocent creatures and offering them the sanctuary they justly deserve. Please join us in this urgent call for support and action.
