Fund Trap-Neuter-Return for Stray Cats in Oklahoma City
The Issue
If you care about animal welfare, please stay with me on this. I am tired of seeing stray cats overpopulating our streets and then dying out there like their lives do not matter. This is not some distant issue or something we can keep scrolling past. In Oklahoma City, it is happening right in front of us, and it is cruel.
What frustrates me most is that this problem is completely predictable. When we do not invest in real solutions, more cats are born outside, more suffer, and more die in the streets. Then the public is left to watch the same heartbreaking cycle over and over while rescuers and regular community members try to carry the burden alone. Animal welfare cannot just be a slogan when the most basic prevention is being ignored.
That is why I am calling for dedicated funding for Trap-Neuter-Return programs in Oklahoma City. TNR is how we reduce overpopulation in a humane, practical way instead of waiting until the suffering gets worse. City leaders should support organized trapping, spay and neuter services, and safe return for community cats, so we can prevent more animals from being born into danger and neglect. We need public support behind a solution that actually addresses the cause of this crisis.
I am asking you to sign because these cats cannot speak for themselves, but we can. We need Oklahoma City to stop letting stray cats die in our streets and start funding humane action now. If you believe animal welfare should mean something in real life, not just in words, please add your name.
