David Holt, born in 1979, is a prominent American attorney, businessman, and Republican politician known for his dynamic leadership as the 38th mayor of Oklahoma City. A member of the Osage Nation, Holt has a distinguished political career, having served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018, where he rose to the position of majority whip. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Oklahoma City University and a Bachelor's degree from George Washington University. His extensive career includes roles such as Legislative Affairs staff at The White House, Special Assistant to Lt. Governor Mary Fallin, and Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Oklahoma City. Additionally, Holt has worked as an attorney at Williams Box Forshee & Bullard and as Managing Director of Investor Relations at Hall Capital.
