Mr. Salvino has been a drafting teachers at Steubenville High School for 49 years. He has inspired countless students to pursue careers in architecture, interior design, and so many more. With the addition of the new STEM building, Mr. Salvino  is not being given the desks that are necessary for the drafting program. Although the school thinks the class is outdated, it means so much to us students and we are really hoping to get these desks for him so we can continue to grow our knowledge and love for architecture. We have tirelessly tried to reason with the school only to be met with the same lies to silence us even being told to take down the petition. We love Mr. Salvino, he is by far the best teacher in our entire district and he doesn't deserve the treatment he is getting. We are tired of the school repeatedly ignoring the classes they think are unnecessary or outdated. We could honestly go on for hours about how they funnel all of their money into sports teams and band, but we have to act now to get the desks by the beginning of the school year.
