FUND & REVITALIZE FIRST CLASS VACATIONS & EXPEDITE LONG DELAYED TRAVEL PLANS F

The Issue

We, the undersigned, urgently request a meeting between Jeff Nahom (Founder & CEO of First Class Vacations) and the current administration to secure critical financial relief for this vital American small business. While countless companies received federal aid during COVID-19, FCV—one of the hardest-hit businesses—was left behind.

Our Story

Jeff Nahom founded First Class Vacations in 2004, his very first company and one he’s always considered his “baby.” A devoted husband and father of four, Jeff built FCV with passion and a focus on delivering unforgettable travel experiences. In addition to serving clients, Jeff has remained passionate about supporting an often-overlooked group in the workforce: senior citizens. While many companies shy away from hiring individuals in their 60s, 70s, and 80s, Jeff has always believed in the value of experience. First Class Vacations proudly employs senior travel advisors who consistently deliver outstanding service, thanks to their wisdom, professionalism, and genuine care for each client.

Like many small businesses, FCV faced its share of ups and downs, but by 2020, the company was poised for explosive growth after securing a multi-year partnership with the most popular team in the NFL. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic hit at the worst possible time during a major restructuring and expansion phase and the cruise industry’s nearly two-year shutdown brought operations to a halt. Despite these immense challenges, Jeff has spent the past five years fully dedicated to rebuilding FCV and continuing to serve its 25,000+ loyal clients with an even greater commitment and care than what made the company successful from the very start.

Why This Matters

  • FCV has been in business since 2004 and has amassed over 40,000 clients, and created tens of thousands of amazing vacation experiences for its clients.
  • Economic Impact: Before COVID, FCV employed dozens of Floridians (including seniors) and drove millions in tourism revenue. The cruise industry shutdown devastated FCV during a key expansion phase.
  • Jobs at Stake: A modest federal investment (a fraction of what other companies received) could save/recreate hundreds of American jobs.
Protect investments: Many of our clients are advanced seniors in their 80’s and 90’s and need to travel as soon as possible.
  • Unfair Exclusion: FCV received only minimal PPP loans, while larger corporations secured billions.

Our Request

We call on the administration to:

  • Meet immediately with FCV’s CEO to discuss targeted relief.
  • Approve funding to revive FCV’s operations and fulfill our client obligations in a timely manner- they’ve waited long enough.
  • Recognize FCV’s unique role in supporting seniors, families, and U.S. tourism.

Many of our loyal clients, including seniors in their 80’s and 90’s who’ve waited years for their precious vacations will face further delays without immediate assistance, as fulfilling the backlog of postponed dreams could take years without intervention.
