County Council Meeting and State of the County Address TONIGHT!

We are being heard!  I attended the packed Town Hall presented by County Executive Barry Glassman, and the overall theme to the evening was that you, the public, want EDUCATION be the top priority in the county's budget.  Parents, students, educators, and others joined together to voice our concerns.  I am hopeful that our message was loud and clear, BUT we cannot stop now!  Once the County Executive creates the budget, he then passes it on to the County Council for approval.  They can approve it, OR they can add funds where they see fit.  Please join me TONIGHT, February 5th at Council Chambers (212 S. Bond Street) to show support of fair funding for Harford County Public Schools.  The State of the County Address will be given at 7pm, followed by a legislative session for the County Council at 7:30pm.  I will be presenting this petition and hope you will join me in support.  Even if you don't speak, your presence will make a difference!
