For the years I’ve been on this earth I have always had access to a nice bag of chester’s Flamin Hot Popcorn; and they were a childhood favorite indeed, and a great tasting snack. I’ve recently learned that in my state and in most states around the U.S that this special snack has not been in stock at stores. It is very discouraging, as I’ve looked for these chips in every local convenient store near me.

I’ve reached out to Frito Lay several times asking about this item to see if it had been discontinued. They’ve responded each time saying “no, they’re NOT discontinued and we’re sorry you’re not finding them in your city/state, for the inconvenience we’ll gladly send you coupons.” Although it’s nice of them to do, the coupons are redundant if they can not be used on the product i want.  I am having a hard time understanding why they’re not in stock anywhere if they’re so called NOT discontinued.

They also didn’t explain why the item is not on the shelves; but will explain that they have a new version available; which is the Cheetos flamin hot popcorn and it tastes awful compared to the orginal chester’s (all red bag) brand! Many people are distraught behind the sudden change. I’d just like to have my Chester’s (all red bag) flamin hot popcorn back. Folks will say “geeez just get a new snack”! Granted I’ll eat other snacks but it’s just not the same. 

My mission is that I hope this post/petition reaches a lot of engagement and signatures because I know I am not alone with feeling this way about something I truly care about.
