Hello supporters,

We hit a milestone today- our 1000th petition signatory.  Our efforts to stop Vic High land (intended for educational use) from being leased away by School District 61 (SD61) to developers continues to pick up steam.

The Friends of Vic High and many volunteer supporters, continue to work on multiple fronts to persuade SD61, the City and the Province to stop their misguided plans to appropriate Vic High land and instead, honour the original vision for the Memorial Stadium Revitalization plan that would see built an 8-lane metric track, a multi-sport artificial turf field and the replacement of the now-demolished grandstands. Memorial Stadium was originally built to honour Vic High students who died for our country in World War Two.
