Sorry for dropping the ball on you for almost a week: must tend to work and family too, just like all of you. In the absence of news, "no news is good news," but I did speak to a person claiming some ties to the Ukrainian government, who assured me that Taira's case is among their priorities.

Keep monitoring the news and spreading the word about this wonderful human. In the meantime, here is a somewhat dated video of Taira's amazing daughter speaking about her mom. These women's strength and perseverance are inspiring, as is their tenderness.

I won't be on the case for another week or so. We need 1700+ more signatures for Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders, and WHO (World Health Organization) to even pay attention to our pleas. Let's keep pressing. Time is precious.
