Dear Friends,

Thank you for spreading the word about the Ukrainian paramedic Julia Paevska (aka Taira) and her ambulance driver Serhiy Chernobrivets.

I added WHO (World Health Organization) to our list of decision makers, which also includes Amnesty International and Doctors Without Borders. Each signature sends an EMAIL to each of these organizations.

We have strong reasons to believe that Taira is alive and russian occupants keep her for the upcoming fake "show trial." She is a Hero of Ukraine, a gold medal winner of the 2018 Invictus Games (Ukraine), and a volunteer Ukrainian paramedic who has been saving lives since russian invasion of Ukraine in 2014. Her rights must be protected according to Geneva Conventions.

Taira and her ambulance driver Serhiy Chernobrivets were detained by russian occupants near Mariupol on March 15, 2022. A defamatory video was produced by russian TV shortly after that, where Taira looks as if she's been tortured. Below is an emotional account of Taira by one of her colleagues, Yulia Matvienko, in my translation from Ukrainian:

***
"Hold her..." Taira yelled at me when Victorivna was dying. "I am holding her, and you hold," she yelled, but I couldn't understand how to hold when I'm not near...
A dream... I see Yulia [Paevska-Taira], I fall to my knees and hold her legs while she is standing.
I don't know what the dream means, but maybe I've finally learned to "hold."
I ask everyone to hold her.
She needs us.
