Dear Friends,

Yesterday was a birthday of my late friend, a Ukrainian volunteer, from whom I have heard the name Taira in 2014. First birthday in my friend's absence. I owe it to my friend to #SaveTaira. What is more, Taira is very important to Ukraine. Rashists know it, and they know they had no legal right to detain a paramedic. So they keep lying. Not for long!

Still no definite news, but there are strong grounds to believe that Taira (Julia Paevska) is ALIVE. Here is why: now that the defenders of Azovstal' have been "evacuated" into russian captivity, the rashists are planning a show trial, in the "best" macabre traditions of Stalin's times. They have claimed that Taira was a "chief doctor" of Azov regiment; she was not, but that is how they plan the show.

Needless to add, Azov regiment are not "nazi" either (russians should look in the mirror instead!), and Azov was not the only troop that defended Mariupol. All Ukrainians unite to help each other and defend their freedom; Taira has been their medical Guardian Angel, delivering the wounded to safety together with her ambulance driver Serhiy Chernobrivets. As a volunteer paramedic, she has treated the enemy soldiers too. "Perhaps, I'd smile less, but I'd do everything for the POWs as is my duty," she says in the previous video I sent you. God help Taira withstand the barbaric methods russians use on their captives. We have no right to give up: she has not.
