As we all know the story between the Sarus crane and Asif's friendship, it is a a petition to free the bird and give it back to Arif.

One year back Arif found the injured bird and nurtured it to health. Since then the bird has started considering him as his companion (friend). Arif always kept the bird free. He took care of him, fed him, played with him. The bird followed Arif wherever he went! Their friendship is just heart warming. 

But the Kanpur Forest department has taken away the bird and now confined it inside a cage. It's a wild bird and needs to be free. Moreover, it is not eating properly inside the cage. It is obvious that the bird is very unhappy. Last time when Arif was allowed to see the bird , the creature was hopping and jumping inside the cage when he saw Arif. The little creature was happy and anxious at the same time. It was a very sad sight to witness.

People want to see the bird free. We want that the bird should be given back to Arif.

It's not about any profit or loss. It's the matter of a genuine friendship between two sentient beings. Unfortunately, some people are trying to forcefully break this friendship. If it continues and we don't do anything now, we might witness some tragedy soon. 

There is no law above a harmless , genuine love. And I appeal with folded hand to everyone to sign the petition and help free the bird and give it back to Arif.
