York University is home to a lab that currently conducts experiments on macaque monkeys. These intelligent creatures are subjected to various tests and procedures. Macaque monkeys are known for their close genetic relationship to humans, making them sensitive, social, and intelligent animals that experience pain and psychological stress. As an institution of higher education, York University has the responsibility to adopt humane research practices. 

By signing this petition we are asking York University to free the current macaque monkeys to a sanctuary and end all future animal testing.
