On June 12, 2025, Krista Fizer faced the unimaginable. Her 16-month-old son was found to be the victim of confirmed sexual abuse. Krista was thrown into a nightmare that no parent should ever endure.

Tyler Valdez was first initially arrested June 12th, after a pediatric medical examiner gave confirmation of physical trauma inflicted upon the 16month old boy. However the same day Tyler Valdez was released from custody due to "medical conditions". 

As of June 14th following a shooting incident, where Tyler Valdez was shot at and lived, Krista now faces criminal charges stemming from her emotional and psychological reaction to this horrific nightmare. For 39 days, while Tyler Valdez walked free, Krista sat behind bars—missing precious moments with her children, drowning in grief, guilt, and mental anguish.

We are calling on the Governor of Oklahoma and all relevant officials to absolve Krista Fizer of all charges related to her actions following the assault of her child.

This is not a case of malice or violence—it’s a case of a mother unraveling under unbearable pain. This is a crime of passion. Krista did what many would do: she broke down completely. She fought. She tried to protect her son. She deserves healing...not punishment.

Krista's children need their mother back. The system failed her once when it released the accused on bond despite medical evidence confirming the crime. Don't let it fail her again by keeping her from her children, or by silencing her voice as a mother who dared to fight back.

We urge you to take a stand for justice, compassion, and accountability. Help bring Krista home and allow her to begin the long road of healing with her children.
